Jukka Holappa, Managing Director (Ph.D.)Jukka is a pharmacist by background, and he received his PhD from the University of Kuopio. Jukka was Fennopharma´s Director of Business Development during 2007-2010, and he has been involved in various out-licensing deals of Fennopharma´s products (10+ countries) and in-licensing deals, e.g., technologies from the academia and products from China. He has also created novel deal structures for co-development of products with Chinese partners. Prior to joining Fennopharma, he held different management positions in the largest pharmacy chain in Finland, operating also in Estonia and Russia. Jukka has published over 10 scientific publications, and he is the main inventor of one patent family.
